GOLD AWARD IN YEAR 12

Students are able to participate in the Gold Award.  Again, support is provided in school by the DofE Team to ensure students are able to complete and log evidence for the Volunteering, Physical and Skill sections.  Ideas and support are provided to organise the residential placements and training is provided for the expedition section.  Practice and assessed expeditions are organised and run through school in Term 3 of Year 12.  Due to the necessary time commitments, the Gold award is completed by students over the course of Year 12 and Year 13.
